Commissioned by the Rev. Charles Edward Maddison-Green, The Old Vicarage was built in 1880 as a country parsonage of grand style. The architect was Richard Yates and the stone was quarried from Penrhos some three-quarters of a mile distant.
The imposing building stands in three acres of gardens and has extensive outbuildings including an original stable block.
Located in north-west Herefordshire in the parish of Lyonshall, not far from Kington and the Welsh orders and 17 miles distant from Hereford.
Surrounded by beautiful countryside, this is an ideal spot for a short B&B break with friends or simply as a base from which to explore.
There are five bedrooms available for guests, as well as a guest lounge and dining room.
